SP&H's Goodwill Loss Seminars

SP&H is an approved provider of Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Credits.

Since 1975, California Eminent Domain Law has allowed business owners to recover lost goodwill when a public agency has pursued condemnation. Assessing and paying these claims involves substantial costs for state, county and city agencies involved in redevelopment or right-of-way projects. Even experienced lawyers and officials may be unaware of all the potential losses and liabilities or how to appraise goodwill loss claims that are defensible in court.

SP&H has developed two seminars to facilitate a better understanding of goodwill issues. Each session uses case studies to emphasize the practical aspects of goodwill loss valuation. SP&H encourages active participation of attendees and incorporates extensive overheads, color graphics, and computer-generated models into the presentation.

Approved for MCLE Credits - 7.25 MCLE Hours
