Henry Kaskov, ASA
Mr. Kaskov is the Managing Director of the Chicago operations of Sanli Pastore & Hill, Inc. Since establishing the Chicago office of SP&H in 2012, Mr. Kaskov has provided business valuations and special-situation financial opinions work for private and public clients throughout the U.S.
Since joining SP&H in 2009, Mr. Kaskov has prepared business valuations, developed economic damages analyses, performed valuation advisory services and served as an expert witness in litigation. Mr. Kaskov regularly performs economic and financial research, statistical and valuation analysis, and determines reasonable fair market compensation and other financial statement adjustments. Mr. Kaskov has extensive experience in analyzing financial statements, developing financial models and economic benefit projections, conducting industry and market studies, performing sensitivity analyses, and valuing businesses.
Mr. Kaskov has regularly performed business valuations and forensic financial analyses for shareholder/marital disputes, corporate/partnership dissolution, family and business succession and transition planning, estate and gift tax reporting, Employee Stock Ownership Plans, eminent domain takings, and intellectual property, brand and patent valuation.

Mr. Kaskov has extensive experience in disputes and litigation and has been designated as an expert witness to determine lost business value, lost profits and economic damages in shareholder disputes, marital dissolution, breach of contract, estate and gift taxes disputes, and other litigation matters.

Bachelor of Science in Finance, with a concentration in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Gies College of Business.
Graduated in three years with High Honors.
Coursework included advanced accounting, statistics, corporate finance, business law, macro and micro economic theory, international economics, and advanced corporate management.
Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), American Society of Appraisers, Business Valuation Discipline.
Publications, Speeches & Seminars
Mr. Kaskov has authored numerous articles pertaining to business valuation issues, and regularly speaks on the topics of business valuation and expert witness testimony to professional organizations, bar associations and accounting societies. Additionally, he has contributed to the professional development of SP&H’s employees, including preparation of in-house trainings on business valuation methodology, discount rate development, development of an appropriate minority interest discount and litigation support.
Officer & Director Positions
Mr. Kaskov serves as an officer and a member on several boards of directors of professional and not-for-profit organizations in the community. Currently, Mr. Kaskov is the President and the Director of Communications for the Fox Valley Estate Planning Council and serves on the Executive Committee of the Estate and Succession Planning Affinity Group of ProVisors in Chicago. Additionally, Mr. Kaskov is on the Steering Committee of the Next Generation Initiative of the DuPage Foundation and is active member and sponsor of several professional and non-profit organizations in the Midwest.
